Fall Festival at SR2 Oct 19th 2013



Those of you that wish to participate in the Council Event Fall Festival at Sid Richardson Scout Ranch need to sign up and pay for the event at our Monday night meeting October 14th 2013.

WEBELOS will be participating in the Score-O Event and Hayride. So you can disregard this email.

Arrive no later than 12 pm!!! Roads will be shut down at 1 pm for the Score-O event for WEBELOS and Boy Scouts. The show will go on rain or shine. Please Be Prepared–bring a poncho, raincoat, or other rain gear with you. SR2 has a pack your own trash in and pack your own trash out policy.

Cost is $22 for Youth and $10.00 for Adults

Family Fun for your entire Pack! Hot Dog supper, Festival Games, Catapult Pumpkin Chunkin, and cool Haunted Hayrides, PLUS BB Guns, Archery, and Pumpkin carving. The whole family can join the fun!

Check-In: Begins at 12 noon. Please send one adult with a Roster of all attending youth and adults to check in, complete unfinished registrations, and pick up event info, patches, and event Wrist bands for each participant. SR2: Check-in is held
at the Buchanan Springs Activity Building (follow the signs).
Activities: 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM. Choose activities of interest and feel free to wander between events. Find events with no lines, there is no set rotation.
Lunch: Lunch is on your own. Bring your own snacks and drinks.
Supper: 5:00 PM to 6:45 PM. Meal times are assigned; please honor your designated meal time.
Flashlights: For safety reasons, flashlights shall remain off during the hayride; adult leaders are responsible to enforce this requirement. Event volunteers have been blinded by flashlights and suffered injuries from falls, etc. Anyone who shines a flashlight on one of the haunted hayride volunteers will be removed from the hayride; the walk back can be long!

Hayride: Hayrides are approximately 20 minutes in duration. Each group will be assigned a departure time. Please honor your assigned departure time. We can accommodate 50 to 100 riders at each assigned departure time. To help accommodate as many guests as possible, please board and exit the trailers as quickly and as safely possible. Be sure to
follow instructions from the tractor drivers.
